This is a special performance highlighting the work of great jazz trumpeters, with special guest Ian Dixon trumpet who has performed across Australia, and internationally in the UK, Europe, Africa, USA, and even New Zealand.
The group featuring Mal Sedergreen, alto sax, Clive Harrison, bass and Mark Voogd. drums the group are a tight quartet with the accent on classic jazz repertoire.
This night promises the sounds and spirit of jazz as it should be played i.e. feeling it spontaneously. If you like Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard, Nat Adderley etc, this gig is a must see.
