Bob Sedergreen and Ted Vining are two of Australia’s most recognised jazz icons whose association spans more than half a century of musical collaboration, an Australian record and mostly a world record. Bassist, Gareth Hill has established himself as a formidable player and has been a current member of The Ted Vining Trio for many years now with many appearances and recordings. Amelia Evans is recognised as one of the most outstanding vocal talents in Melbourne and comes from a musical family and acknowledges Bob as her musical mentor and of course will have grown up listening to The Ted Vining Trio. Bob and Amelia have even recorded some of the trios repertoire.
This will be a night of respect and acknowledgement especially for the drive and swing of bassist Barry Buckley. In fact both Gareth and Amelia’s sister Ella play Barry’s favourite basses. Don’t miss your opportunity to see this one off appearance.
