The Story

Absurdities abound, as the quirkily diverse and desperate inhabitants of an apartment complex deal with relationships and familial trauma in Denis Šafarik’s hilariously dark debut. 

Told in a series of twelve equally dramatic and darkly comedic vignettes, All About the Little Things follows an ensemble cast of Czechia’s newest talent as they try to navigate the absurd complexities of domestic life while experiencing a total breakdown of communication between friends, family and loved ones. With each vignette leading to both farcical and poignant results, All About the Little Things culminates in a deep reflection of how we can all be both cruel and kind towards one another and that the little things might just be all that matter in life.
