The Story

Jonathan Pollard is one of the most divisive figures in the history of US-Israel relations. To some, he is and will always be a hero, while others see him as a traitor. Pollard was an American-born former US Navy Intelligence analyst who was sentenced to life imprisonment for passing classified documents to Israel throughout the ‘80s. He was released in 2015 after serving 30 years and eventually welcomed to Israel by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in late 2020.

His life is the subject of this fascinating four-part documentary series - featuring interviews with American FBI agents, Israeli Intelligence officials, and politicians who have never spoken out about these events before.

JIFF presents the Australian premiere screenings of all four episodes across two parts. Watch Part 1 & 2 back-to-back or on different days.

Tickets for Part 1 & Part 2 are sold separately.
