The Andy Sugg Group

Andy is one of Australia’s leading saxophonists, who performs regularly throughout Australasia and the Northern Hemisphere. He recently completed a tour with eminent New York bassist, Gene Perla (of Sonny Rollins and Elvin Jones fame).

At the Classic Cinema Andy will perform a selection of jazz standards with an ensemble made up of Melbourne’s most exciting younger players. As well as Andy on Tenor sax, the Andy Sugg Group will feature Damian Ellis on Drums, Umar Zakaria on bass and Hue Blaines on piano.
