With an all-star voice cast including Matthew Broderick, Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg, Rowan Atkinson, and James Earl Jones, original songs by Elton John and Tim Rice, and a score by Hans Zimmer, The Lion King won the Oscars for Best Original Score and Song and remains the highest-grossing traditionally animated film of all time.
